On 5 November 2019, representatives from the Yezidi women survivors community, accompanied by members of Better World Organization and Dak Organization, were welcomed at CIGE by Investigating Judge Ayman Mostafa. During the meeting, survivors and representatives of the organizations asked questions, voiced their needs and concerns, and Judge Ayman Mostafa sought to address these by providing an overview of CIGE’s work and updates in the field of accountability and reparations for victims of ISIL crimes. He also reiterated CIGE’s committment to bring perpetrator to justice and to cooperate with UNITAD in the investigations as a key step towards achieving accountability.
